The above picture is Brian and Janet of BJM Dance presenting Irvine and Troon Cancer Care's Chairman Dick McLachlan and Treasurer Gordon Rainey with a cheque for £150.This was the sum raised by the raffle at our recent Christmas Social Dance held in Cumnock Town Hall. We would like to thank each and every person who donated prizes for the raffle and also to everyone who purchased tickets.Irvine and Troon Cancer Care us a voluntary organisation offering support to those facing the problems of cancer by providing a patient transport service along with information and practical advice about locally available services.The patient transport service is manned by volunteer drivers using their own vehicles transporting patients and, if possible, their relatives , to hospitals in Glasgow, Edinburgh and throughout Ayrshire. Patients are collected from home, accompanied to hospital then taken back home after treatment. Transport to and from the Hospice is also providedThis is an extremely worthy cause and anyone who would like to volunteer as a driver or make a donation should contact the charity direct for further information.

Christmas Party Dance
Christmas party night at BJM Dance was a great success. Party goers danced the night away to the Jive, Foxtrot, Waltz, Cha-Cha and a few party dances with some prizes. The teas coffee and sandwiches where all on offer and enjoyed by all.Don’t forget Classes start 16th January including new beginners
